    I had to much lens on this one. He came out of nowhere and I just pulled the trigger and hoped for the best.

    For what you said about how you took it it looks very good, light angle is less than ideal and the ir a hot white spot in the head, but other than that as far as pose, sharpness and moment captured, it looks nice! Congratulatons!

    Good overall image, especially given the too-close limitations for the lens. Great eye contact. On my monitor it looks like a little upwards tweak of sharpness could help. Also, a little artful dodging around the legs, talons and fish might help reduce the shadows in that area. Thanks for posting!

    Not bad for a grab shot! I like the wing in the corner and although the image is tight, the composition works. Very nice yellow fish in those fantastic talons. The light angle caused the burned white spot on the head.
