    What a beautiful pose...the head angle is great, and I like the details of the wings and flared tail. Stunning color. I like the crop as presented, and the BG is lovely. This is one great image!

    Great photo of a stunning bird, Chris!

    For esthetics and technical considerations,I can't imagine a more perfect image,

    I am especially impressed with the evenness of the exposure.

    I agree with all the praise but (dare I say it?) also consider this image - of a bird I know very well - slightly oversaturated.

    Maybe the blues are slightly oversaturated indeed, but what an image Chris, simply unbelievable!

    sharp, and really sharp! What an exposure! Hard for me to judge the colours since I have never seen the bird, but it looks great to me.
