    Congratulations Bruce Merden
    Coneflower at takeoff

At least to me it has the feeling of taking off -- hopefully for you not too much toward leaving the frame

Photographed in Bennett Arboretum, a small natural area in the park that lines Hines Drive in Northville, MI. In this area, they planted native wildflowers to let them naturalize. When I was there two weeks ago, the coneflowers were among the peaking varieties. I missed a bit earlier this year, but there should be some more species blooming throughout the summer.

Nikon D80, Nikon 105 macro, ISO 200, f/6.3, 1/50 s, tripod, LR & PS to polish it off.

One of my favorite wildflowers - they are hard to resist. I love the perspective you used here - the title really fits. Congratulations!!
