    Thought Id share this one - not 100 percent happy with it. Hba eplayed around with some CW rotation - but never seems to look quite right.

    Looks fine to me Lance. Interesting pupil shape; looks like a star. Very good sharpness considering the use of a 2x.

    Hi Lance,
    Looks like you made the best of some harsh lighting!! The BG is lovely and agree with Doug that the pupil is quite something!!

    Crisp, sharp and a lovely bg !!! Excellent Lance !! There is a light oof area in the bg by the bill would try minimizing !!!

    Great capture. This is one fine lens, even with the 2x. Image is very sharp.

    Hi - I think the stary eyed pupil might be from the Wacky Tabacky - LOL - see the bit of GRASS in the mouth. ;)

    love that eye!!! "wacky tobacky"!! that's funny!! agree with al that if you toned down the oof brighter area in the bg at the tip of his bill it would be better. tack sharp! that is one fine lens. one of the few nikkors that i have had a chance to shoot with and it was awesome!!

    Neat bird. I find the circle around the bill a little distracting. I would paint it out, but that is just what I would do? Is the focus on the bill getting a little soft, the rest of it looks so sharp.

    Love the colour of the eye. Pretty Cool!
