Great pose, eye contact and BG. I would put the bird further to the right in the frame to give him room to fly into. It looks as if there are some clone marks in the BG.

Excelent pose of the buzzard and very good eye contact. The BG is nice but I absolutely agree with Axel regarding some cloning marks in the BG that need to be fixed. I also agree about the composition, it would be better with more room at the left to allow the bird´s flight. You have some hot whites in the left wing. I think that this is a very good image and I strongly encourage to rework it and try to fix the problems. It would be very easy to fix the hot whites with the RAW file and to add some gaussian blur to the BG in order to hide the cloning marks. If this is a crop and you have more room in the original file you could add some space at the left. Big congratulations for such a fine image.

Good points by Axel and Juan. It's a very striking raptor image. I'd like to see a little separation between the head and the far wing. I'd also like to see you post this one a little bigger (up to 1024 pixels wide). Thanks for posting!

Giovanni, you'll need to resharpen your image for the bigger version :-)

Agree with previous posters' comments. Beautiful species...and you nailed the exposure!
