    Default Evening in the Marsh

    Not sure what I think about this one yet. I like the colors and the flow of the water away but not sure if maybe I composed in too much silhouetted marsh. Maybe not. (This is about 60-80 degrees left of "Twilight on the Saint Johns River" several minutes later)

    Paul,

    I really like the sky and the colors but agree with you that the FG silhouette is too large - it draws the eye in too much. I suggest a crop that has the water on the right entering the corner of the image. I tried it and it looks good and really accentuates the water and sky colors.

    Hi Paul,
    IMO going for a pano crop of the bottom will kepp the intent and feel of the image there.....yet eliminate the stong FG silhouette presence in the presentation. This will balance well with the clouds of the right.
