    Image created last month at Kalloni Saltworks, Lesvos island, Greece. This is the second (and probably last) image I post from this series.

    Canon 1D M2n, 500 f/4L + 2xII, AI-servo
    1000mm, 1/1600, f/9. ISO 320

    i cant wait to go bag to Lesvos in april next year. Wonderfull Island en beutifull birds. This is just one of them. Great to see.

    Beautiful bird and pose. You may probably extract more light out of that right wing. If I were to print this, I'd go for the drop as presented. However, for web, I'd go closer.

    What a beautiful eagle. Lovely pose and the snake is a bonue. Wish you could have gotten even closer. The image is sharp, and you could probably do a closer crop. Wonderful detail and beautiful eye. Well captured.

    Very nice wing position and the prey adds to it. Another vote for a tighter crop.

    Thanks for your comments. I always try to crop as little as possible. Here is a tighter crop of the same image. What do you think?

    As Fabs mentioned, for web I love the repost, but for print I would go withe the original post for sure, a but more SAT would help. Congratulations! It is terrific!
