I brought my husband to the frankfurt airport today (because from now on he is working for two months as a dive guide in Egypt....) and stopped at the zoo on my way back home.

So I came home with some images; one that I like is the bathing Pelicano.

Nice shot I love the water drops flying all around and the dark bg .Your pano presentation works well although I would crop alittle off the rt. side.

    Hi Rosl!
Actually I love this as presented as I think that the droplets are an integral part of the image.

Thank you for your gentle comments!
I was really happy, when I made those images. I just went to the zoo to spend some time, not thinking of making good images.
But in the afternoon, when I had a quick view at the images from the bathing pelicano my heart was just jumping of joy. I love the light the colours, the black background and the soft curve of the flapping wing.
May be, the bird is too centered, but I won't miss all the waterdrops at the right side.

Sometimes images like this remind me, that we do not always have to travel and make big adventures to ceate pleasing pictures.

    HI Rosl,

The first thing I thought was "more room all around" allowing the splash to "breath" a little. I would like to see with less of a crop!

    Just a thought!

    Thank you for your comments,
Maxis; this is no crop at all; only a bit from the bottom, nothing from the left or the right side...

I'd be happy with this one too, as I love dark BGs and spashing birds. I know it might need a little more room but at the same time, I'd be tempted to crop a little off the right to get it less centered. You gotta love all those droplets of water.
