    Hand held, natural light, slight crop

    Very lucky to watch this bird lift off, and go for a meal., in some nice light.

    You can almost feel the bird strong pumping strokes! One of the best rth images I have seen. I like the frame, lighting, sharpness and bird position. Front wing seems a little OOF, but the head and body are so sharp that it's a minor nit. Congrats!

    The light in this is exquisite, Ray, the color of the sky th perfect backdrop for the bird. Lovely!

    Awesome...the whole image screams power! Great light, pose and exp. I actually like the small blur in the close wing - adds to the story IMO.

    Beautiful , beautiful light and a gorgeous subject. Nice sharp detail and I like the fanned tail. I wish that the near wing were in a better position and that the bird had given you a slightly better head angle.
