    Not many birds to be seen this AM at West End , and this is probably the reason why. This Merlin was all over the place causing the few birds around to stay well hiden in the brush.

    Good timing! Nice light and exposure. I'd crop a bit from the top to get the bird off center and the branch on the extreme left feels a bit awkward.

    Nice light and I love the "just left the perch" pose. Good exposure. Fabs' suggestions on composition are good. Very nice image!
