Just love this wonderful action Loukie and the killer BG. It would be great to have some eye contact but Love it as presented. Superb detail and lighting. Thanks for sharing these awesome captures with us.

Judy short of screwing a head on you have no chance, when they land there is such a messy group of birds to find a spot they have to keep their eyes nailed to it I am adding to show what it looks like on the ground, I had to clone a few intruders out as it is, I wanted to add a rock etc, but, thanks for looking

Wow Loukie I would keep my head down too if I had to land in this landing strip. Great to see what is going on on the ground and many thanks for sharing this. Love these wonderful captures you have taken of the vultures. Great work !!!!

Eye contact would have been great, but thanks for your explanation and accompanying photo!

I love the pose and light, all looks good except for the Clon tool work that seems to have been done in a hurry ;) I would go back and re do it more carefully, other than that as said, very nice pose, and light! Congratulationn!

Very nice image. The light was very good and helped in the creation of this great vulture image. I like the details and wing position.
There are some cloning spots remaining under the bird's tail and the edge of his feet seem to "fade" in the BG.

Wonderful capture Loukie! I don't mind the lack of eye contact in this landing pose at all.. only a stupid vulture would look into the camera and smile when coming down like this:D

Fantastic full open wing pose, and beautiful detail. I don't mind the lack of eye contact in this landing pose at all. Cloning mentioned. You certainly got some wonderful images of these birds on your trip....I am so jealous!
