    Default Toad Hall-composite

Mr. Toad is from another photo, the setting is a stump covered with moss, ferns and mushrooms. I moved the fern a little closer into the picture to improve the composition as it was out too far on the edge. It is also rotated a bit, as is "Toady". Toady had a slight perspective change so he would look more like he was coming out of his "Hall". "Toad Hall" refers to Toad's mansion on "The Wind in the Willows" by Kenneth Graham-one of my favorite stories. This toad has a "hall" more proper to his humble position in life! :D

Sorry I have not been present much here since joining- had to take my daughter off to her own "Hall"..i.e. first year of college. (sniff).

I like it a lot Cindy !!! Today looks a little upset :) Can't imagine a better setting Sure wish you could have worked it just like he is but to the top right of the frame sort of giving him room to look into the frame

Really like the scattered of color, very appealing setting !!! I like it a lot !!!

Thanks, Al. I see what you mean about placement of Toady. He wants to look over his kingdom! ;)

Is this any better? Not quite top right, and the comp is perhaps not quite as tight, but...??

Thank you, everyone, for your nice comments. Toady has decided it's almost time to go inside- it was 36 degrees here this AM!
