Sparrow ?

This was taken in Niagara Falls , Canada this summer. I had talked with Raymond Barlow and had hoped to catch up with him and the wonderful peregrine falcons but we missed each other and I missed the falcons. Instead I captured what I believe to be a little sparrow on the banks of the Falls.

Great shot of a common bird Judy! I believe that this is a female House Sparrow. Great on all accounts and I especailly like that you have the branch going out of the frame just below the upper left corner and handled well in the lower right :D.

Very nicely done on this youngster, Judy. Our female house sparrows are much grayer here in KS - is this the true color for them up north?
