Walking around outside this evening when I came across this beauty. The lighting was horrible so I had to increase ISO to get a sharp shot..

This looks overexposed to me. ( Check your histogram:))
It is a neat huge spider though because I have photographed one (black and yellow garden spider). I would saturate the colours on the spider and try to tone down the whites a little. It is a little out of focus, did you use a tripod?
    My two cents..

Hi Sid Neat looking bug !!!

Good suggestions from Jackie !! Would tone down the whites but basic exposure not all that bad. Would increase density first then check if saturation would benefit boosting. Sharpness is good would have liked more dof to cover the head, the point of focus was the back of the spider !!! I like it, very appealing image !!! btw for harsh light cases remember to try a diffuser !!!

This is neat! I wonder, in my amateur way, if a little fill flash might have helped-just a low dose.
Would like a bit more space around such a big fellow, but overall, an impressive catch!

Hey Sid - nice spider - agree with all of the above - also seems to be a bit of noise present. I would be using selective colour to add some pop to the colours and maybe even make the blacks a little blacker.
    Here's my take..

looking forward to seeing more :)
