I was fortunate to get offered a bonus hour of birding yesterday after dinner. Headed to the closest beach from home to maximize the daylight left - even then there was not much. Some clouds rolled in front of the setting sun and gave an eerie colour to the outdoors - but great for photos.

    Canon 40D + 100-400L @ 400mm, manual exposure, 1/100s., f/7.1, ISO 640, fill-flash @ -0.3 FEC, handheld, ~75% full-frame.

A little CW rotation and this is just a very nice shot BG looks nice, a bit bussy but very nice, light, exposure and colors as sharpness are great! Congratulations!

Agree a little CW rotation - love the low angle.

I like the angle and low light. Setting and BG work for me.
