Lake Naivasha, Kenya, as seen from Joy Adamson's home, Elsamere. Everyone was packing up to leave (the place was closing for the day), but I stole a few minutes to make this. The sunset only got better, but we had to look at it from the Land Cruisers. C'est la vie.

The panorama is composed of 13 vertical photographs stitched together.
    Capture information (per image):
    Canon 1D2n, 70-200mm f/4L, 1/800 sec., f/9 @ ISO 100

Gorgeous David, the burned out area does not bother me at all! Excellent work!

I really like the depth in this, the layers of hills fading away and the shafts of light really catch my eye. I might take a touch off the top, the dark clouds are such a strong presence, they almost make the scene a little "top heavy".

I think you might be right. I cropped a bit off the top and from the right. Let me know what you all think of this version:

Repost rocks !!!! I was going to make the suggestion It gives a better look at the main focus and streamlines the image !!! Big Congrats !!!!

I would have the same crop suggestion and David has done it. A bit of the top balances it out better. Nice work here.
