    This is the 5th frame of a sequence. Unfortunately this is the first one that the flash fired. It's remarkable how fast these guys wrap up their prey.

    Hi Michael,

    Love the action and the composition.

    Looks like there is some kind of movement, hard to tell if its ghosting or what but the catchlights in the spiders eyes look a little smeared. Hard to tell.

    Also a finer point but is that a piece of lint in the top center, or is it on my computer? I shot with a MKII for years and years so I know how easy they show dust and lint.

    It wouldn't surprise me if the spider or grasshopper moved a little bit. I didn't see the lint until you pointed it out. Good eye! The DsMKII is a dust hog that's for sure. One of the things that I don't like is having to clean the sensor but that's part of moving to digital.
    I hope that my DsMKIII is better but I'm not sold on Canon's sensor cleaning technology yet.
