The first morning in a very long time I headed east to the river for this sunrise. Typically I head straight to the wetlands. How cool that you were there and captured it! I didn't miss sunrise at the wetlands after all. Nicely captured.

Really interesting sunrise, I like how the line in the sky is mirrored to a degree by the diagonal strip of open water emerging from the bottom left corner. I also like how the road leads your eye into the scene, adds a lot of depth to the image. I am not sure you could have done much different with the placement of the road in the frame since you were already as wide with your lens as you could go, but the way it is cropped feels just a little chopped. Thanks for posting, look forward to more!

    Hi Layton,

Great to see you here :)

That sky is magnificent and your composition makes it really stand out.

    Hi Layton,

I know when you took that.:)

As Layton knows, we ran into each other when I was at the wetlands with my MINWR/Viera workshop this past week. Some of the participants as well as I created images of this sunset.

I agree with Jason, the rod is a bit cumbersome but the "V" formation is great.
