I love coleus because it always makes for some interesting patterns and textures in images. I took this photo a few weeks ago and never got around to converting it to b&w until tonight. I really love the depth of the image and the tonal range displayed in the leaves of this beautiful plant.

    Hi Julie,

my suggestion is to stop down a bit to get more DOF. Contrast and highlights/shadows are excellent.

    Hi Julie,
I like the composition. Like the monochrome contrast...was wondering what this would look like if you were to convert it to infra red???;) Humor me; convert to IR and see how it looks, it would pack an extra punch...:D:cool:

Gus, I gave it a shot but I really don't know enough about Infrared to make it work. Care to take a shot at it?

I love the contrast and the glow in the leaves. DOF is good for me.

Looking good Jules I like how the image is cropped very much Might even bump up the black and neutrals in selective color for more punch !!!
