Kirk BH-1 ballhead

Question??? Anyone have this ballhead?? If so can someone tell me about the 2 smaller knobs? Which is the panning and which is the tension knob? I am hoping that the one closest to the large knob is the panning one! It would only make sense to me, but I cannot find a diagram anywhere that tells me this. So I thought I would rely on my friends at BPN!!!:D
