    I like the sleeping poses of birds....especially with the eye open. If this has some more room in the original, then I'd crop some on the right and leave more room on the right to get the eye out of the center and more in the URC. The eye is certainly sharp but the feathers below are not sharp and I think that this image should be about the detail in the feathers as well as the eye.

    Hi John,

    I like where you getting at but the eye is too centered for me. I also think this image needs needs to be brighter and with more contrast. I'm wondering why f/16?? As you can see the foreground still out of focus!

    Please repost the image and let's see the difference!

    Lana pretty much sums it up for me. I do like your comp and the eye contact. Thanks for sharing.
