    Default Rocks & Stripes

Made this image near Engelberg (central Swiss) during a hike. Liked the cross-stripe patterns that the rocks made.

I like it a lot, especially the diagonal lines leading to a mysterious location out of the image. Nice work with the wide angle lens and CP. At this resolution, ISO of 800 was not a problem. I also like the light colored rocks towards the lower right balancing the larger rocks/mtn in the upper left of the image.

A well designed composition Kaushik. As mentioned, the diagonal rocks make a strong statement in the image. Also agree with Doug on the lower right rocks balancing the peak. Great detail in the mountain peak and slopes - nice soft light.

    Hi Kaushik,
I too like the diagonal lines of the rocks. For me.......I would prefer a bit of a crop off the bottom. Even though the rock at the bottom does balance the mtn.........for me it was a bit heavy and the crop, indicated by the red would still keep the balance while removing some of the weight of it. Let me know your thoughts on it.
still...........Very well composed and exposed overall.
