Default Lesser Spotted Eagle in B&W

As in my last post, that Lesser Spotted Eagle is from the National Park Bayerischer Wald. For a captive one, I have tried a bit more "hand of man" and converted to black and white in Lightroom as well as cropped from horizontal to square.

    What do you think?

    Canon EOS 5D
    Canon 4.0/400DO
    ISO400, f4.0, 1/125 at 0
EX550 with Better Beamer at -1.0

    Regards

i'd boost contrast a tad, but would keep the same shadow/highlight ratio you have here which is very dramatic. maybe add some usm as well

I agree with Michael but think you could use a little noise reduction as well. The detail on the eagle's feathers and face are fantastic!!!

Thanks for the suggestion. Used some curves and added 75/0.4/5 USM.
