Beauty Desmond, love the colours and the detail in the heron. Really well done!
Desmond, my friend, I'm standing by with bail money - I fear that you may be under arrest!!! Apart from that head angle I like it a lot - very well done.
Regards,
Nicki
I agree, beware of the HAP. very detailed and nice colors.
Oh, for a slight head turn. Otherwise a cracking shot.
Hey Desmond - going to be 20 lashes I fear.
Like te action youhave caught and the BG. i LIKE :) :) :)
desmond, is that a flounder in his mouth? never seen one with a flounder!! very nice. i think this works even if he is flying away from you!!
..... did you say heading :) .... actually the bird is floundering !!!! :D:D
This is one of the case you can a bird going away and looks fine since he is going away to feed and the head should be pointing in that direction !!!
Very well done Desmond,
I like the catch of the day...:D
[Phew] Wow, no lashes !! Thanks ! :D
Not sure if it's a flounder or halibut. Actually I didn't see the heron catch it. I was walking along the jetty at around 8am. There were already a few herons along the jetty in the water doing what they do best, i.e., standing there motionless. Then suddenly I heard one of them call. When I turned around, the heron was about to take off. So I quickly took two shots. This is the second one. The first one is not in focus.
Nicki, you can still forward the money to me. You're very kind :)
Thanks guys !!
Hi Desmond,
Perhaps I'd better hang on to it - I might need it for my next post...:eek::D
Regards,
Nicki
Man these HAP around here are killers. Great capture, very nicely exposed.
