Down at the beach - this is a Juvi Pacific Gull, gotta love th beak on these fellows.

Just about needed extension tubes for this one - he seemed to think I wanted to share his weed.

    Hi Lance,
I hope you gratefully accepted his offering...looks like he could win the knobbly knees (ankles??) competition as well!!!
I like this a lot - my only nit is that it looks a tad dark on my screen and might just need a degree or so of CW rotation.
Just love the effect on the water from the droplets.
    Regards,
    Nicki

Hi Lance Agree on being a little dark and also tight. Would like to see the entire water ripple up front since if its worth including, include all of it !!! Good looking gull and means business ...... wouldn't want to mess with its seaweed !!!! :)

Must be time for a recalibration on my monitor - I thought it was borderline to bright on my screen.

    :)

    Hi Lance,

I agree with the rotation and space. He only seems a LITTLE dark on my screen.

I really like the shot, though - sharp, and detailed. Great capture.

I like the composition and capture. Agree with Mr. Forns on the techs. Looking forward to your next one...

My monitor must also need some calibration cause it looks ok here. Great capture, and sharp. might be a little tight, but what the heck I like it.
    Regards,
