    Hi Ivan, Welcome. Your first image is a great one. Very sharp overall, well exposed and composed. The BG bokeh is great too.

    like it a lot : perch, colors, pose, head position, soft BG

    a couple of small nits - on my monitor, might have sharpened a bit more more for web posting and there are some ?dust spots? in BG which you could easily cloned out (eg - in green BG midway down, just behind the bird's back)

    i'm curious to see what others will say about the cropping - i'd have cropped some more off the left side as to me the bird is too close to centre and a bit tight on top

    a great first effort - keep them coming

    Very nice, the open beak adds to the image. I'd also add a bit more room up top.
