I would've crop off the big log from where the branch (perch) is comming out, other than that, love the BG, light, pose and eye contact! Congratulations1

excellent shot., I am agreeing with Ramon, some cropping would help this one, maybe keep it out of the (hand of man section?) the bg, and look Rock.

Lovely pose and direct look, and I love the layered colors of the BG. I like the old log perch as presented as well as your composition. Well done.

What a magnificent raptor! Great pose and eye contact and I like the BG. Ramon came up with a good crop suggestion.

Stunning image and those eyes just pop out at you. Great pose, perch and a killer BG. I like it very much as presented but Ramon's crop suggestion could work very well too. Including the log just adds another dimension of interest which I like . Many thanks for sharing.

I echo Ramon's comment about the log, it feels a bit overpowering even with an owl sitting on it. Love everything else: eye contact, BG and inclusion of the environment. A beauty!
