The Puffin Discovers that Humans are not Waterproof afterall.. .Senor Forns -
Hi All,
Another puffin from Skomer last June. He seems suitably amused to see so many photographers out in the rain...:eek:
40D 100-400 @ 400mm
AV F8 1/250 sec
ISO 400
Very poor light, raining and windy...
Look forward to your c & c's!
Best regards to all,
Nicki

As always, just perfect. Exposure and the way you framed it is just great.
I think we might have to take you up on the offer, but first you might have to come over this winter for some Florida birds!!!!
I have never seen this angle shot of a puffin before. They look so comical. You did a great job of the final pic considering the conditions you were shooting in.
Real Sweet Nicki !!! Love that open mouth !!! ... regarding the little flower fine to include but do give it a little room, it is an important element. Big Congrats !!!
Hi Al,
I've had a go at adding some canvas at your suggestion. Is this OK?? Please be brutal...
Thank you so much as always for your help and encouragement.
Best regards,
Nicki
Hi Nicki
I'm another big Puffin fan only seen by me @ Bass Rock at North Berwick in Scotland.
Really like the 2 points of interest and space with Alfred's suggestion.
Well done. You have captured the essence of this bird.
