    beautiful shot. I like the perch and the head turn. The raised leg is a bonus.

    I might tone down the perch a bit and it feels like it could use some CW rotation, but other than that I love everything about this shot, light, pose, hrad turn, and details. Congratulations!

    Such a beautiful Red-shouldered hawk, and both the pose and perch are great. . Soft light and sharp details. Agree with Ramon that a little CW rotation would be good. Nice capture!

    Hi David. It's a nice photo, but I agree with above comments. Here's a repost with a few additional changes. Some extra sharpening, decreased the brightness of the bird and BG, applied rotation and added canvas, recropped. What do you think?
