    it was blowing a gale this morning so it became a waiting game to get this image.

    Aristotle, you've got nice detail, good DOF and a pleasant BG - I just wish something more were going on...it seems like such a typical head-on flower image. Maybe a different angle or a little bit of something special in the BG would have added a little more interest?

    Don't get me wrong...it's a very nice image...I just can't help but feel like I've seen it before. I would challenge you to take it a step further and find a reason for us to fall in love with this flower.

    Great comp, sharpness and BG, all that is missing is a crab spider!

    I do agree, that it is missing something and that is a bee, but not any bee a queen bee! which I've been waiting patiently for ;)
