I liked the image of the bird so well I was willing to put up with the background. Not my favorite but OK. Thanks in advance for your comments

Hi Bill - Nice bird - exposure looks good - head angle is good - love the catchlight in the eye.

As you mentioned BG is a little busy - you could blur a little in P.S.. The only distracting part for me is the dark green line RHS that intersects the body.
    Well done :)

    Hi Bill,
You have good exposure and details in your humming bird. Agree with Lance on the busy background...

is this a big crop? i was thinking the noisy bg came from a big crop! it looks a little big in the frame for me. do like the compo, just would like to see a little more canvas all around. blurring the bg might work. i like the colors and think they compliment the bird!!

the noisy background is the result of removing a lot of distracting lines that touched the bird like the dark green one. I liked the colors so I didn't blur it completely. Cropped yes, big crop no. Thanks for your thoughts

Hi Bill Agree with comments and can add the light oof flowers are distracting !!! Usually any light areas will be eye catching and detracting !!!
