I photographed this image handheld in Naples, Florida on the last morning sunrise of my vacation with my Canon 40D. I have a lot of photos to share, but this is one of my favorite statues. ISO 200, F8.0, 1/25 sec, +1.0 EV, EF 10-22mm F3.5, 16mm, Pattern Metering, Auto Exposure, Auto WB. Comments welcome......

    Hi Richard,
Welcome back, trust you had a wounderful vacation...:)
I like your image. I cropped just a tad from the bottom to take out some of the grass, and if you notice, cloned out the little palm tree trunks and busy things that were touching your subjects from the top and from the bottom. Also burned in the hot spots on your main subject produced from the harsh angle of the sun...see if you like...

Hi Richard I like it but what are you doing at 1/25 sec? No need for the slow shutter speed, crank it up the camera is a good performer.

Would have tried moving to the right for a better bg regarding merging palms and horses ....... also head angles..... also applies here !!!! :)
