    Black-bellied Whistling Duck - S.W Florida

This one from this afternoon. Not too happy about it since I had to crop more than what I usually do which is very little. However, the good news is that I can go back for more!

    Comments are welcome.

    Canon 40D, 500mm L @ f/5.6, ISO 400, 1/800 sec, RAW, Tripod, Cropped to help composition.

    Thanks!

The crop works well here. Love the flight pose, but wish the back wing were sharp instead of motion blurred. This is a personal preference however, and I think most people like the speed that blurred wings impart, And these ducks are fast! Great exposure control.

nice shot Maxis, great colours, and wing position.. maybe a little over sharpened, imo.

Very nicely captured Maxis and I love flight images that allow us to see a little of the topside. Good exposure and excellent flight pose.

I loike the pose, the light, sharpness and colors, crop works great and the blurred wings give a motion feel that I like a lot! Congratulations!
