I didn't quite drop off the face of the earth:)

Did actually make it to the Franklin Park Observatory for their butterfly event. Over 100 species from around the world that are released into the Pacific Ocean room..The room is fairly small, lots of plants AND lots of people..Note to self,next year go back up on a weekday! The butterflies were amazing!

I noticed this before in another of your flower& butterfly photo, there is a beautiful luminosity to the main subject (butterfly and flower). How do you do that? Is this in the post-processing, the original image????

Gail most is done in camera. I do mess around in the L channel in LAB mode a bit with BF's,nothing specific just tinker
