    Yellow rumped Warbler- Pic taken in foggy overcast conditions. Can't wait for the sun to come back!

    Canon 30D + 300mm f4 + 1.4 converter
    exposure bias f/0.8 (-.67)
    f 5.6, 1/500 sec

    Some may find it distracting but I like the background. Still, I think you can tune down the brightness of that big white spot showing up between the perch and the tail of the bird.

    Oh, the bird is sharp with details.

    Overall, I like the atmosphere of this photo.

    Hi Dave

    Agree with Desmond on the bg but would have been better to photograph without the white spots!!

    As presented is a littel dark, could use a curves adjustment. The sharpest part of the bird is on the wing, would try composing with AF point on the eye then re composing. Love the perch and pose all with a great head position !! Very appealing image
