Default The hunter takes his stance.

I had a great time observing the hunting behaviour of this Great-blue Heron. All of it's catches were rather small, but the hunting technique itself was remakably intense! I am undecided about the larger bubble...I may just decide to eliminate it...

I am with you about the bubbles, I would remove them, other than that, I love the compo, the side light, the intense look and pose and the sharpness, Big congratulations!

I agree with Ramon about the bubbles and about it being a great shot -- very different and with a fantastic composition.

    Cheers,

Lovely light & I liked the tucked-in pose especially - watchful & ready to strike...

I like the low hunched position posed by this GBH and you captured this in some nice light with beautiful BG colors.

Very unusual image but really good in my opinion. Love the reflection of the bird, the pose and the low angle. The side light adds a lot of dramatism to the scene and Imy vote goes to clone out the bubbles!

Interesting image. I seldom see them hunting in such deep water. I like the pose and composition. Another vote to get rid of the bubbles.
