    Default Ruffling Red Knot

    This is from last year. During fall the juvies of that years breading season migrate along the Dutch coast. This is one of them that I caught ruffling its feathers. The BG is all rocks overgrown with seaweed.

    I like how the perch lets us know what is the BG, I like the pose and the sharpness, light is good as are the details, I might try to warm it up a bit with color temperature. Still, Congratlations!

    Really nice bird and I find both major colors here to work very well. Very good job.

    I remember this image Krijn. I liked a lot first time I saw it and still looking really good. Love to see part of the habitat but the most I like is the ruffled feathers and the eye contact. Fantastic. I have to agree wuth Ramón about warming the colors of the image. Very well done!

    The beautiful juvenile plumage is shown to advantage in this nice ruffling pose. I like the seaweed covered rock perch and the oof seaweed in the bg....they set the bird off nicely and add interest. I like this a lot!
