    Hi,Well this is my first post here...:)

    Picture taken yesterday morning : This kestrel was resting on a pole,and when I
    just changed my 1.4 tc for a 2.0 tc this bird chose the air....

    1/400s
    f 14 (should have been F 11)
    +2/3 stop
    iso 400
    handheld
    80 % of original

    Welcome to BPN! Nice and sharp for a handheld 1000mm doubler shot. I might consider cropping it so that the bird is not centered in the image. Give it a little room on the left to fly into.

    Welcome, Ron! Too bad about the aperture but the body is sharp enough. I only wish for more separation between head and wing. Keep them coming.

    I wish that you could see the beak, as it just blends into the wing a bit too much, but other than this the shot is super sharp where it has to be. You ought to be proud of your effort!
