    This is an unusual image of one of these guys. I like it compared to the usual pyrrhuloxia on a branch we see. Focus is good, pose and expression are great. I might try to tone down some of the brighter areas of the BG a little.

    Hi Doug,
    this is very impressive image: I like the pose and the sharpnes of the picture. Very good eye contact too!
    The only thing that is disturbing me is the slightly busy background.
    It would be really thrilling if there would be the whole bird mirrored in the water :-))

    Ahhhhhhh...... I really like this it looks just like a cuddly toy, though I wouldn't want to put my fingers anywhere near that beak !!

    I have never seen one of these before & I just love it it made me smile :)

    Very nice image. Sharpness, exposure on the bird and pose, even som reflexion on the water! I also feel the bacground somewhat distracting, maybe some burning would help?
