I took this a couple of weeks ago. I like the image. I had to tone down some of the highlights on the flowers, and bring up the black on the bee. I like the BG a lot.

    Hi Jackie,
I like your composition, The background is beautiful. You display sharp details in the flowers. You did good considering the harsh light. The bumble bee is a bonus, too bad you could not get him in focus. Composition wise, I would tell you to add more canvas on the left of the frame, to give your flower more growing room. You should have more space in the direction that the flower is pointing to. If you really want to get creative; you can move or transpose the bumble bee to the left of the flower... I modified your image just a tad by cropping at the bottom, and adding 1/4 canvas at the top, also eliminated the purple oof flower on the upper right corner of the frame. see if you like...

    Excellent suggestions Gus !!!

Jackie the oof bee is fine and does add to the image imo. Slight enhancements made a dramatic difference !!!

Thank You. I was trying for a flight shot in focus, but it was very hard, so when I looked at this I liked the OOF bee because to me it told the story of a bee leaving this flower and going on to the next one.
