This is an attempt to salvage a really bland shot, and to experiment with some PS work. I know the head angle is bad, but it seems to be a bit of a comical shot with the swan in front protecting himself from the flap of the back guy. I added canvas to the bottom as the front swan was cut off just at his foot. I painted the background black as the original was a waste. Once I had the extra space at the bottom, I added a flood filter and blended it in. I don't have great PS skills, but this was fun and sorta saved the shot a bit. So what do you all think I coulda, shoulda done?:D
Dave, there is so much that is great about this image! I love that you added a flood and reoriented the image a bit. My one drawback is that the top bird's face is pointed away from the image and isn't as well in focus as the rest of him.
If you want to try some more PS work, I'd crop out the tall guy and just focus on the gorgeous and unusual lines of that bottom bird. IMO, he's where the story is!
Thank you Julie. I knew going in that the head would be a problem. It was a fun project as I said. Your thoughts on some further work might be worth some more effort. I appreciate the time you've given to view. Regards
