    Default Lost His Head............

Local osprey relocating to finish his breakfast in peace. This poor guy got tired of his mate trying to steal a bite of his breakfast so he took off to a more private dining table. :D I've got tons of osprey with fish shots, but all of them but a few have the fish's head missing. I've got horrible timing when it comes to finding the birds early enough to get shots of headed fish. Grrrrrrrrr.

Well done on all counts. The males usually eat the head before returning to the nest.

Beautiful composition and wonderful wing span and eye contact Mike. Fine image and no nits for me.

This image works very well. I like the pose, exposure control and composition. The head must be really tasty. :)
