    Default Moulting but still beautiful

I photographed this Snowy Egret in great light. I was pretty happy with the way it looked on my camera's LCD. When I got home and downloaded the images onto my computer, I noticed that the egret was moulting. The bird not be a picture-perfect specimen, but I still like this image.

Great light, wing position, details and eye contact. The are some artifacts in the BG and I would go for a slightly wider crop.

Light, composition, pose, exposure and BG are outstanding, I love it, but what I specially like is the great DOF. Congratulations!

Just curious what you see in the BG Axel; I can't see anything on my monitor. Thanks!

It's in the BG between the dark part and legs/bill. It looks like compression artifacts. I opened it in PS and it looks fine there, go figure. :)

Nice flight pose in soft light. We all have our bad hair days!
