You should read the documentation which comes with this relative to Google having ownership of ANYTHING uploaded with this browser.
From what I read this morning, this is a modified version of Safari.
Google backtracks on Chrome license terms, see http://news.cnet.com/8301-13860_3-10031703-56.html
So far, it works pretty well on my windows XP. Waiting for the Linux version. Google plans to make all the code open source. That should help make it secure and portable.

That's more like it.

It seems that GOOGLE still plans to collect data on your key strokes as you search the web. See the following http://news.cnet.com/8301-13860_3-10...?tag=mncol;txt
While there is a work around for now, I am not sure I trust that other means are not used to collect this info. It is equally disturbing that GOOGLE states they plan to keep the search info along with the "Internet Protocol address of the computer that typed it".
All this is pretty scary and reminds me of when I read Orwell's book "1984" while in high school. At the time I read the book 1984 was 20 years in the future! Look how far we've come!!
A 3rd party (SRWare) has taken the Chrome source and removed the privacy concerns and recording of things entered. If you can get past the German? site and install, the program is in English. http://www.srware.net/software_srwar...me_vs_iron.php
