Nice one, Jeni! I would have liked to have seen a little further down on the flower and a little less above the bird's head. You also have a few hot spots in the white areas - shooting your photos in Raw format will help you to recover those and tone them back down. Overall it's a very pleasing image. The bird's pose it gorgeous and very original!

Hi Jeni,
I like your capture and image, I see that the bird is over sharpened and the eye does not look natural. Try to selective sharpen instead of an over all general sharpening...:cool:

Agree with previous points and the over sharpening seems to be the most damaging !!! Can't wait to see the next one, they are such cool birds !!!
