Image made this past weekend at Lake Galena/Peace Valley (Bucks County, PA). Canon 30D; Canon 300mm f/2.8L IS lens with 2x Canon TC 1/2500 sec @ f/5.6; ISO 200; -2/3 EV; Focal length 600mm (35mm equivalent of 960mm); Natural light
I like the composition, setting and light and wish for a bit more head turn toward you.
Interesting presentation. The GBH is just a bit too small compared to the stump for my tastes. The image also looks a bit over sharpened. A halo is visible and the sharpness just doesn't look natural.
I like the grey tone all the way through the image. This is very nice.
Lovely setting, nice light and reflections. I wish the bird had turned his head toward you and I think a slight ccw rotation is needed.
Really nice image with good composition. Wish for a little better head position, and I also see sharpening halos.
