Quite lovely. Like the bird and the branch entering from the corner--great minds think alike. The BKRG is very nice too. The bird looks a bit over-sharpened. What say ye all?

Hola, Juan Carlos. What a cool bird to have photographed! I agree with Arthur that the bird looks a bit strange. The perch and lichens look a bit blown, at least on my laptop. He could probably use some more space to look into as well. Then again, this is one more picture than I have of this species so I'm a bit jealous!

    Cheers,
    Greg

Thank you guys for your comments.
Greg, you and Artie are right about the over sharpening. I tried not to get it but I am still learning. About the lichens, these ones are a little hard to handle since they have this very light green color, I paid attention to this but as I say is hard to get them well exposed. Any ways, that is how this lichen looks more or less.

Juan Carlos, I know what you mean about those cloud forest lichens (up near Savegre I'm guessing?). I tend to try to tone my exposure down a bit when shooting on perches that include them, which is most of the branches up there as you well know!

    Cheers,
    Greg

Very cool bird. Looks over-sharpened or to be a heavy crop...

Hello Glen and thanks for your comment. I will tell you that I almost don't like to crop my images, in fact, I try not to do it since I have a camera with a small sensor. This is almost full frame, but I accept that my image needs a better PS treatment.

You are very right about those lichens up there in Savegre. Next time I will follow your suggestions. Thanks for the help.
