OK Jules, you've been singing the praises of Liquify, and I finally had to dive in.
Very fun stuff!
Got any idea what this photo used to be of? I thought about doing a composite that showed parts of the original flowers, and distortion on just the bloom, but my imagination ran away with me!

Sure Amy ...... there is a bird in the middle from the sparrow family, then to the right a giant green leafy leafydendrum and to the right I'm not really sure .... wold have go guess :D:)
Really looks sweet Amy !!! Great shapes and set up really nice with the dark bg !!! Big Congrats !!!
Yes, Bruce, I was kind of thinking about Joanna's Fly-Agaric-tripping squirrel at the time... Looks like he might have gotten hold of a laptop somewhere in the woods....
I had shot these flowers, and they had lean to them. I decided to keep them, and originally went into PS to try to make them look like they were blowing away - with a wind effect, but that didn't give me what I really wanted. So, I thought I'd play with liquify..... :)
Amy: Now I'm not going to throw away any photos....you created something great out of a ho hum photo! Can't wait to try liquify....I have a photo in mind.
Joanna, I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with. I still have something in mind for a "wind" theme, but it will take some more PS-ing. Picture the individual elements of the flowers broken apart, and scattered toward the top right..... with the movement effect on them, and the rest of the flower stationary. Not sure I can pull it off, but I'll have fun trying!
Quite stunning. Looks like some ancient Aztec or Greek dancers...
