    This one was taken couple of years ago using Canon 300D

    For this shot, I used a composite of the eyes and beak from one of the number of shots I took while panning. I have increased the canvas in the front and cleaned up the light streaks on the water a bit. Does this have a chance or should it go to the trash. Your opion and feedback will be appriciated.

    Settings were ISO 100, 1/60 sec, 300mm at f5.6

    I love the sense of motion here Indranil. The light makes the eye quite striking. I just wish the bird were looking at us, and I wish the head were sharp. Thanks for sharing!

    I wonder what the original head and beak look like. Good sense of motion there !

    Hi Indranil Good points mentioned !!!

    Would also suggest much more room behind the bird to show the full splash. Would also change the ration and give a greater sense of speed. Exposure wise would like seeing detail in the dark areas. You did really well panning and hoping to see more like this one !!!! Excellent !!!
