    I came upon a family of burrowing owls (about 8 owlets) as they were flying around testing their wings and pouncing on grasshoppers. The wind was blowing from the wrong direction but you take what you can get.

    Cool pose and look. The wing blur works very well here. What is the squarish looking part of the BG in the lower right?

    There was some old farm equipment in the background possibly a reddish tractor.

    Judging from the result, the wind didn't matter. Very nice pose and I like how it looks down, very cool. Wish I had it i my archive.

    Very nice image with a fantastic pose and terrific head turn. I do not mind by the lack of eye contact. i would prefer a fully extended right wing but a terrific image for sure. Did you applied some kind of shadows/highlights filter here?
